British domestic intelligence agency MI5 has warned lawmakers and their staff to be on guard after a spate of suspicious outreach from China-linked accounts on the professional networking site LinkedIn. The United Kingdom and its "Five Eyes" intelligence-sharing partners—the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand—have previously raised concerns about Chinese espionage and state-affiliated hacking campaignstargeting sensitive industrial and security information.
