China’s Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Hua Chunying told Japan’s ambassador to China, Hideo Tarumi, on Wednesday evening that Abe had brazenly supported Taiwan independence in a speech he made earlier in the day, according to a Chinese Foreign Ministry
statement.
