U.S. Senator and Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio has blasted the human rights record of Chinese leader Xi Jinping. Rubio, who co-chairs the Congressional-Executive Commission on China (CECC), said that "human rights and the rule of law have suffered a devastating blow" since Xi assumed the presidency.
